Agnes Nyirankera is the CEO of Business Continuity Plan Ltd, former Mobicash Managing Director and Credit Risk Management Professor at the School of Banking. She is an MBA holder in International Finance from Brandeis University Boston/USA, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and gained outstanding awards. Her experience cuts across all the major sectors of the Rwanda, Burundi, Nigeria and the US economies.
She has over 17 years experience in various industries (8 years in audit and consulting with Deloitte and Touche Rwanda and Nigeria, 6 years as Head Internal Auditor in banking sector with Access Bank Rwanda and Burundi, Cogebank, telecom at Rwandatel and Education for the MBA program as a Teaching Assistant at Brandeis University in Boston/USA and 4 years as BCP Ltd CEO.
Her varied international experience enhanced her skills in: financel, compliance, information system, due diligence, tax, enterprise risk management reviews, business re-engineering assignments and lecturing.
She is also a guest speaker for a wide-ranging audience in Rwanda and Burundi, a former Member of ISACA (Nigeria), MTA (Market Technicians Association/USA), Rwanda and Burundi Bankers’ Associations (Compliance Forum), Currently a member of New faces New Voices Rwanda Chapter (Association of African professional women -supporting financially women in the continent) and Rwanda Women in leadership Network.
